I'm from merseyside originally and I saw the caral live in Liverpool in the late '90s when I was a teenager. Young guitarists played with a lot of feel and seemed nervous. Seamed maybe younger than me. Great band

A great, great talented band. A massive fan-base that were always happy that they were never quite mainstream. Who's smiling now, with ad-men falling over themselves to have the bands music as the backdrop to their meaningless product. As someone said to me recently, who never of the band in their early days....."Hate the product, love the music"

+Danny McHalestoner Absolutely. When you consider their back catalogue from the past 12-13 years, it's incredible, ranging from some of the best guitar pop songs made right through to some amazing more experimental stuff they have gone. And then add their musicianship to it and how comfortable they are at putting some rare influences into their music, especially the first few albums. Bands like Coldplay are not really fit to clean The Coral's instruments which is probably why they're huge really. The general public has terrible taste.
