For the first time in awhile I'm excited about this team's future. The last few games vs PHI have been fun to watch. I love the throw-back high-speed, high-contact game these kids are playing. Put the ball in play, put pressure on the defense to make plays.

Heading into 23, this dude is gonna be star of this outfield now that Varsho is gone ( to my jays none the less! ). His base running is incredible. Hits with a certain swagger. It’s no surprise that he already got a huge pay day. Best of luck Corbin!

It’s amazing what Corbin has done to the journey to getting drafted, to getting called up to the MLB. Well first. Carroll’s above average arm. When you draft an outfielder, you need the outfielder to be fast and have an amazing arm. Now, Corbin has carried the Dbacks to the World Series. Amazing. Love Corbin and the great Dbacks!

As a 5'4" baseball player who finally put down the bat and glove at age 50, I can say baseball has been very important to me. Although I never played college or other higher level ball, I did play on a men's baseball team until a spinal issue and a change of employment ended my participation in the greatest of American pastimes. You do not have to be tall as a giant or big as a horse to play this game well. It does my heart good to see a Little Man such as I watch as Corbin comes to bat and see the defense shift because they know he is a mighty threat. He is a big man and a giant in this game and hey, left handed and good looking just like me.

This dude has got all the talent in the world, but so does just about every starting player doing it at the highest level of a premier American sports associations (NFL, MLB, NBA, etc). That's even more true of the guys that are 1st round draft picks--work ethic and dedication is what sets apart the good players from the great players. Carroll's so humble and so locked-in that as long as he can stay healthy, he's going to be big-time!
