Its a shame they do not make more of those trail markers, as they did look so easy to miss. The views sure were worth it, despite the heat and the wet T Shirt and it was the greenery that really hit me when we were there. I bet the café was a welcome sight after the climbing and in that heat . Spiders do not bother me but Mrs Metalman would have kittens there she hates them, even the small ones. After 'vomitgate'😂 it must have been nice to get out in the open and the views were stunning from the summit but never nice to take a fall, even if crisps were the saviour of the day. That looked a real tough day and I was getting exhausted just watching it, great effort though, cheers Alan

Ahhh yes, the last section along the cliffs was very scenic for sure! I really enjoyed the mountain section in this episode too though, as it was more remote in parts and it’s nice to change up the scenery … but the view over the cliff on Agios Georgios in the last episode couldn’t be beaten your right!! Hope your having a wonderful summer so far

That sound is an insect called a cicada, they're like giant flying insects, I could actually see them flying around when I was in Rhodes. Also I'm a new subscriber and I love your videos! :)

Hi Ladies, you seem I'll equipped for the climate.Can I suggest you invest in Uv50 sun hats, hiking poles and summer trekking shirts. You might also want to consider water bladders, such as camelbak or similar, 2 or 3 litres. Finally, to add comfort for your feet, non membrane lined boots and light merino/ coolmax socks, as well!

Hi there Daniel, thanks so much for the comments and suggestions … 🤗 we have trekking poles back in the UK .. but just couldn’t fit anything else in our luggage for this trip Luckily we always pack 2.5 litres of water each for these sections when it’s this hot! So we had enough water …. It just kept going warm throughout the day so finding little stops to get a colder drink was always a relief! We mostly hike in the UK so had our usual hiking boots with us, as we couldn’t afford to buy a separate pair just for this trail … the socks sound like a great idea!! I’ll look into them xxx thanks again and enjoy the rest of your summer

Do you use perfume free products as they don't attract the wee flying beasties such as wasps. Cicadas? We all have to make a crust so no apologies required. We're all cooking in the UK now. Next week will be a killer for many it would seem. 32+ temperatures 🌡

Yes I heard you are getting some epic weather this week! It will be hotter in the uk than here on Monday 🙈🙈 I’ll ask danni, I think she had scented deodorant on! That might have been why she was getting attacked and I wasn’t .. I use a roll on that doesn’t really have a perfume in it

Mark hi 👋😃😃 how are you? lol I know, but strangely there were less intrusive insects in the jungle then there was here!! And the tarantulas didn’t have webs covering the actual path so they were easy to avoid

Trevor 😃👋 hi!!! Well, we got offered a singing contract with the Abba duo in Corfu for a few months … we couldn’t afford to turn it down after backpacking so we have been out here singing for our supper and on our days off we have been section hiking the Corfu trail … we fly home on the 26th of this month .. then on the 7th Aug we head upto Scotland to do the East Highland Way So apologies for the delay, we have had more gigs here than expected so been flat out working 🙈 But once back we are grounded in the UK for the foreseeable so have a load of UK content coming September is the Snowdonia slate trail, October the Pendle Witch Way Also been saving for new wild camping gear so looking fwd to trying it all out eeek 😝 Hope your enjoying the UK heatwave!!!
