Awesome! It's been 3 years since I've been up there during normal weather without snow - I'd almost forgotten what it looked like.

This is great! I’m keen to do this trail Can you camp up on Carey’s peak?
@OutdoorHikingTherapy3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. Yes definitely an amazing track. Yeah there is a campsite up on Carey’s peak, but it’s a first come first get kind of basis. As far as I know there is no water up there, but can easily stop in at Wombat Creek Campsite on the way and grab some water.

Thanks for the video. I'm heading there in the morning. Is wombat creek the last access to water before careys peak? Cheers.

Alex Does DIY There is apparently a small stream about 50m down and to the left of the open area where the hut is just before Carey’s Peak, but I haven’t seen it for myself, just what I have heard. But definitely plenty of water at Wombat Creek.

See any dear, goats or pigs mate?
@OutdoorHikingTherapy3 жыл бұрын
No didn’t see any of them, but did see some areas on the track where pigs had rooted up the ground.
