In the netherlands, the “polder model” is basically a form of natural corporatism. The fact that the country is under constant threat of sinking makes it necessary for all social and economic classes to work together. As a result, Dutch corporatism is much more of a philosopy than an economic model.

Nordic corporatism is to capitalist. When the power of the capitalists is opposed even the slightest they bribe politicians, initiate mass privetization etc. State syndicalism or a form of socialism based on the organic state is the only way forward if the european race and working class is to even survive the century

Honestly I think corporatism could use a different name just on account of it makes people think of uber-capitalism. Corporation might be a word which adequately described corporatism 80-140 years ago, but now people just have a different connotation for the word corporate. The first word that comes to my mind that has a modern definition better than corporate would be synergy. So I think corporatism could attract more people if it was called synergism. What do other people think would be a good replacement word if one is needed?

You should see Eugene Golob's book -The "ISMS"-. It has the biggest chapter for corporatism and middle-way. Also you should look at Carl Landauer's book. Another source for corporate law theory comes from Leon Duguit who claims occupational representational order in terms of constitutional law theory of corporatism.

Great video. I think it'd be interesting if you made a part of the series discussing the difference between corporatism and Keynesian capitalism. Many people (myself included before I started watching the series) think corporatism is just capitalism with a strong state, i.e., Keynesianism; and I think making a video about their difference would help clear a lot of doubts and attract further interest in corporatism as a truly distinct alternative to capitalism.
@ezrafaulk30765 ай бұрын
Now that I've watched your introductory video on it *&* both parts of your miniseries on it, I'm dead convinced America *desperately* needs corporatism; systemic employee abuse & mass layoffs by CEOs against employees (who're being laid off because of the *CEOs'* stupid decision they're thrusting the consequences of onto *them* instead of accepting it *themselves* )in American capitalism is leading a lot of people to turn to socialism/communism, seeing it as the *only* alternative even though it's arguably even *worse* ; most Americans have never even *heard* of corporatism (& to my utter shame, I was one of them until I watched your videos on it), & those that have have only heard the *misinformation* surrounding it. But after watching your videos, I understand that corporatism is the *middle* ground system that leaves *everyone* happy (as long as it's not *fascist* corporatism), & as an American who's absolutely sick of all this *needless* polarization & strives to find a rational middle ground, I now firmly believe America absolutely *needs* corporatism.

The City of London Corporation is a unique local authority that governs the Square Mile, the financial district of London. While it operates within the broader framework of the UK's legal and political system, its structure is distinct. The Corporation has elements of corporatism, with various committees representing different sectors and interests within the business community. However, it also incorporates democratic elements through elected representatives. The Corporation's functions encompass local government responsibilities, maintaining the City's infrastructure, and supporting businesses.

With Paul,it's actually the end of Corporatism ie-Hierarchy,there's a reason why Spengler was quoted as saying,"Christian theology is the grandmother of Bolshevism",it's the push for egalitarianism,this is even confirmed in the lifestyle of the 1st generation of Christians who lived as celibate groups in communes,sharing everything(that sounds more like Communism to me),a far cry from what the church would later on become as an institution(and this btw would later be one of Luther's main critique of the Church,hence the "Sola Scriptura"advocacy),Paul is speaking from a theological pov not a social one and certainly not from an economic one,remember Christianity is a failed apocalyptic cult,as far as Paul was concerned the world was about to end in the near futur,he's not planning a society for centuries to come(heck,not even years to come)so it's absurd to anachronistically put such concepts in his mouth.

I’m a capitalist supporter and always will be, but I’m willing to admit that corporatism is very appealing and maybe some elements of it can be used to prevent capitalism from growing out of control. However I have to say that corporatism’s association with Hegel is bad since Hegel essentially laid the foundation for the formation of not only Marxism, but also fascism and national socialism, through his pro contradiction anti-logical philosophy.

let me tell you about something corporatism isnt the only Alternative to capitalist and socialism cuz if you ever heard of syndicates they literally operate the same way and method and then you have my political theory and practices called unionism where it abolish a 1 man system and builds a system of a round table of economic and government structure of 8 spaces which are sittings of 5 for 1 government and law making 2 military and law enforcement 3 business and economics 4 political figures 5 building civilization 6 land and avoculture 7 building economic and enterprises and government law enforcement or military and trade unions then finally 8 public education with all this a government of hierarchy of wealth and power is simply no more as thier wouldn't be a class of power nor wealth as everyone are expected the same for what thier specialty caters for thier need in the society and system that thierself can provide with whatever thier specialty of work is now how to get voted or the requirements to get elected in whatever sit you are running for you must make a paper documentation of a 5 year plan u are planning to bring to the nation and state and if thier was a case of you lets say not doing what you are promised of doing then you are kicked from the sit of what you been elected for now for the security of the nation we protect any belief in culture rather its sexually or religious or even gender identity as all are people and any form of people within the government is worthy of thier protection in rights now for business side of things fairly priced consumer goods big business and enterprises places to work to earn income and free employment union enterprises that share the wealth and opportunities to the lower income enterprises so they have the same privileges as the big business in opportunities and deals with other companies all this forms a fair place of practice thats strong but not authoritarian and most importantly a system that builds a machine that the masses and candidates of the round table can control through feedback and opinions from the you the individuals and the other thing is it holds wealthy businesses accountable for any wage cuts towards works by making them sit with the employees and make a deal with them to compensate the sudden wage cutting. Also if you wanna make a video covering what i said here you can

Western civilisation is Faustian. Rome and ancient Greece are not Faustian. Neither is the Bible. Oswald Spengler talks about this. They are a different Pole than the west. Faustian means the quest for knowledge and greater meaning. Those civilisations where more concerned with status, order, auctoritas and power.
