As an American who grew up playing baseball, yes. Most of us hit our irons okay, but the real struggle comes from driver. The driver, in your mind, feels more like a baseball bat because it's longer and the idea of "swinging for distance," instantly kicks in the engrained "homerun" baseball swing. Its annoying and a hard habit to break.
