Kabhi bhi canopy ke 30% se zyada remove nahi karna chahiye, kyoonki woh trees mein nuterient deficencies ka cause ban sakta hai aur fungal diseases bhi easily catch karne ke vulnerable ho jaate hain trees agar moti moti branches kaatkar big open wounds kiye jaayein.. leaves tree ki food producing factory hote hain.. aur jis tarah hamari municipalty trimming karti hai, woh bohut bura hai.. agar city mein jagah kam hai, toh woh trees lagao jo zyada bade na hoon..

internal small twigs and branches are essential for growing good trunk and branch taper. removing them is going to create a 'lion-tail effect' which may make the branches prone to failure as they grow. please see what structural pruning or formative pruning is before putting out misinformation.
