Hey everyone, welcome to my channel. I've been playing Old School Runescape for years and I'm looking for a new challenge...so I'm making an Ironman!

getting your slayer up and getting burst tasks is ultimately what most ironmen should aim to do for magic training. You eventually need 93 slayer for your occult to boss better anyways, and you'll have tons of magic and hitpoint xp by the time you get there

Good point on the 93 slayer, there's so many skill cutoffs to keep in mind for unlocking content on an ironman that just slip by sometimes unless you have a clear plan in mind. Thanks for pointing it out!

I like the spin flax spell on the lunar book. Get flax from the kingdom/zulra and each cast of the spell yields 75 magic xp, 75 crafting xp, and 5 bow strings. It’s quick and useful

Oh goodness the dreaded MTA I hated this place, but grinding it out early is sensible. I did it later on and it was so painful. Keep up the hard work dude!

Yea, like I said in the video last time I did it was during Leagues so my memories of it weren't that bad. Don't think I could handle doing it in one go on the regular game though - so much other stuff I'd rather explore for now. Think doing it it smaller chunks will be the way to go. Ibans blast, tome of fire, morytania hard diaries. Then barrows til collection log. Use legs to tele until you can make barrows tele tabs, and ring of dueling to ferox to rejuv. You get a ton of runes for your onyxes and ancients later on

@@tylersoexclusive713 tbh I kind of just ignored combat achievement rewards when they came into the game 😅 I definitely need to look into them some more, but at a glance they certainly sound handy!

@@juicybeetosrs mediums do a lot but one of the things they do is they negate the prayer drain at barrows so you can just pray the entire time no problem and never use any prayer pots

I'm 54 mage atm and I'm just fire striking slayer tasks and such, I got Iban staff and 1500 deaths from selling cats but saving that for barrows in future :)

Sometimes slow and steady is the way to do it, just keep chipping away with your fire strike. Sounds like a good plan, hope the barrows luck treats you well.

My favorite magic training methods are the ones where training magic isnt my objective. High alch, spin flax, superheat, glassmake, etc.

Yea I reckon that's the best way to go about magic 90% of the time. Really is a top notch utility skill and you get plenty of xp using it for other things that there's no real need to dedicate time to training it in the long run!

I did arceus library to 75. I did this by getting full graceful and 70 agility. I had no pots just grinded and it was 100% worth it. I did this right after 99 fm grind

Great video with good tips. Can i ask what plug-in you were using for quests/dairy reqs? The one im using doesn't show to pick up items in the area for future quests ect. Thank you

@juicybeetosrs I find tan leather and plank make to be some of the most useful magic leveling methods in the game. Very AFK if you want them to be too. Plus, you're banking construction and crafting in the process
