Great guitar to pick up and travel with. In that case laminated is an advantage as it does not react as much like a solid wood guitar would to the weather. Mahogany wood sounds real nice. I got one of these today when i brought in my Eastman PCH1 (spruce solid top) for a maintenance setup. This plays just as well, maybe a bit brighter tone

How would you weigh this up against an epiphone AJ acoustic Richard?, around the same price but the epiphone has a solid top and also an option for mahogany.

Ya Nan my 100% honest answer is.... we provide a £60 pro setup in the price. If you but an epiphone it.will not play to the same standard by a long way. It’s tricky. Like someone asked about the vintage options which also give a solid top... it all comes at a price. Nobody makes guitars better than Cort so we can set them up and give the customer an amazing guitar. It’s a price point I shouldn’t focus on because it’s more of a loss leader in terms of profit so I need to make sure what I am recommending will get through quality control or we lose money on the sale!

@@RichardsGuitarshop we're back onto the subject of your previous video, what do you actually gain from spending "x" amount of extra money on a guitar? I'm a firm believer in buying whatever tickles your pickle, that way you will want to play. P.S. my acoustic is an old aria j26, cost me £60 and sounds absolutely great when I want to bang out sweet home Alabama when we sit round our chiminea in the garden LOL.

Hi richard... amazing video. By the way live in India i had an option to choose either ga medx or the fender se105.. and i went for this but couple ppl told me 105 is better whats your view. I still have the option to exchange it for the other. The fender is cheaper by 30 kwid approx..

Hi Richard just received this guitar unfortunately no power is getting. I did play it a few times with the amp and it was ok. But now even the tuner doesn’t light up. Any suggestions mate? Thanks for the videos by the way!

Nice looking guitar Richard but I would probably spend a few quid more and get something like the Vintage VE900MH £259 with a solid top and of course comes with your superb setup. What's not to like? :)

yamahamusicians I suppose what you highlight is difference we make. On a selfish level we can expect a higher quality build at this price so we should have a higher chance of success with setup and quality control. Vintage are indeed amazing value and I agree with your recommendation and they have improved a lot lately. The other issue is I was trying to find something nearer £200 and the vintage is nearer the LAG price point so you could argue the same to jump from 259 to 299. They are all stepping stones for sure

I'm sure it's a cracking 1st guitar, but just recently upgrade my Faith Nkd Neptune to a Auden Emily Rose from your store, and I can confirm that it's been setup to perfection. Only problem is I can't put it down, and I'm sure the neighbors will be getting fed up 👍.
