I know, me being a jazz lover I was jealous that the kids got to meet Dizz in person

I"ve been searching for this clip for quite some time. It's adorable how Rudy asked Cliff questions while "winning" the chess game. Thanks for the uploads.

I just learned that the instrument that Dizzy is playing is called the Chang, and it has roots in the Middle East and in Italy❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I remember when I saw the scene with dizzy holding his breath in a nick at nite commercial as a kid, when I first saw him, I thought he was Bill. I also was freaked out at how big his cheeks puffed. I thought, “how can someone do that?” But, I then realize, it’s just how some people are born.

It's actually from playing the trumpet incorrectly. He was self taught in playing trumpet and didn't know one should have firm cheeks to play instead of storing air in your cheeks. It's known as "glass blowing cheeks" due to the amount of pressure blowing air out whilst storing air in the cheeks causing pressure. With enough time and pressure, cheeks will become more elastic and expand.
