He reminds me of DC’s Captain Comet, a human being that has reached his peak evolutionary potential because a passing comet activated his meta gene. There, he’s called a Neo Sapien, and as the name implies, he’s the future of the human race if it continues to evolve and everything happens to go right. It’s pretty cool Adam is this same old concept that was thought of so long before either of them were created. H. G Wells truly was ahead of his time, much like Adam and Comet.

I always wondered why Adam Warlock isn't considered a cosmic beings. And you missed that Adam Warlock had the infinity gauntlet way before Thanos. And while in his possession he use the gauntlet to purge himself of all emotion to be a better god, thus creating Magnus and the goddess. Both resulting in the infinity war and infinity crusade.

@@leopumarejo3400 you are not wrong that he had possession of the infinity gauntlet at the end of infiniti gauntlet mini series but the gauntlet was broken up immediately afterwards through living tribunal, eternity, and infiniti. But if my memory serves me correct Adam Warlock tells the story of how he in possession of the gauntlet, separated his emotions but was still unable to be the perfect god. Then broke the gems up again and thats how they ended up with those whom thanos killed to get them(Thanos quest).

I had a whole big theory when the infinity gauntlet MCU story fully kicked off. I figured thanos would be an anagram for the place where the gems would be AFTER the gauntlet wrapped. I remember I thought the h in thanos would stand for HIM - I.e Adam Warlock. Someone on a rival message board had debated said they believed my theory bared water but said Him may be Vision and they’ll supersede Warlock entirely. It was an interesting debate on both sides of the theory. Still bitter Ultrons origin was robbed from PYM that screwed ultrons true origins into the “everything starts with RDJ and Iron Man” which stilts the mythology. I truly thought Warlock would be introduced in GotG2 I didn’t predict YONDU hogging the spotlight and introducing MANTIS and TASERFACE instead.

Marvel used the ultimate ending in comic history way to early. Thanos is an end all not a first of many. They should've focused on solo and group movie set ups until the Fantastic 4, X-Men and other hero's arrived like the Sentry, Blackbolt, Gladiator and more Celestials like Galactus arrives. Then you could showed everything as a true threat. Truthfully Thanos should have won a second time. No on that field was strong enough to stop him.
