I got it. Jeremy is actually the Narrator for the Cosmo-s. But that means he can't get involved directly because that would be too powerful, and so he's forced into the persona we all know and love and fear. I look forward to the inevitable developments in that plot line, and see if it's a forced condition that he gets periods of lucidity from, or if it's a conscious choice as to avoid the wrath of the two beings mightier than the Narrator - The Writer and Editor Congratulations for 100k again, Cosmo! ♥
