Do you talk about athena's higher dimensionality in this video? If so where because i remember there being a vsbw thread on it that bumped kratos up to low 1c on their tiering system (4D at best imo) but either way is that covered?

Imo, I agree GoW takes place in the same planet (as the author state Greek's destruction only effected the continent) But it wont downscale the overall cosmology due to trancendences, other dimensions and range (like Ares creating an entire Galaxy but only can be seen in the Greek region). Summary, the universe revolves around the GoW planet

If you look at the Ares boss fight, right after you beat that stage, Kratos is still in the same position he was. It's a mental illusion rather than an actual physical illusion. Not to mention Ares only created a portal there. He didn't actually create a universe or galaxy to begin with so it doesn't even matter.

Ngl, this makes no sense. The creation of the universe of the different mythologies only exists within the specific location of that mythology? So Ymir only created the Scandinavian area while Gaia only created the Greek area, or are they both the entire earth? How? The God's were there, so they would know how the universe were created. What about Helios, who was the sun for the Greeks? If he's gone, then how did the Scandinavian get a new sun? Or was he somehow only the sun for the Greeks and the Scandinavian had their own sun? There are so many holes in this explanation.

No one created the earth. When the earth formed, the creation stories sprung up in different regions on the earth, shaped those regions and warping reality or some other magic bs. At some point handwaving issues with "magic" is needed but it can be brought down to a minimum. The actual sun is still fine, it just got blocked by clouds when helios died. When helios was alive, he represented the actual sun, and was for all purposes, the greek sun. So far it looks as if the respective gods have complete control over what effects the actual sun has in their geographical domain, or something related. The "greek" sun is clearly not a star, from gow temple of helios and valhala. Sure there are holes. As David Jaffe said, 22:50 , they weren't really thinking about the cosmology for the first few games.
