I just think that...if getting a BBL is both risky to death and requires mantainance for it to look good, what is the appeal of it as an "easy way" to get the body? It is not, and on top of that its expenssive. I'm someone who goes to the gym and is into bodybuilding and i do have some big aesthetic buttocks. Yes, it requires some level of discipline to get here, but im not a proffessional bodybuilder or anything like that by any means. If you want some enchancement to your body + it is actually healthy for you, just kick the gym. Just prioritize minimum 3 days a week and you will see results with a correct diet and good sleep. A lot of people think it takes a lot of effort and that they dont have time...but as i have been going to the gym for a long time now, the real secret is to keep consistency and dont leave it and also training as intense as you can every day you go. With these two, you can do training sessions of less than an hour. You could even start training at home, with some weights or even with things you have at home like a backpack filled with heavy books, water bottles or something like that. Your body does not tell apart between a gym and your home, the only thing to take into consideration is giving your muscles enough stimuli to grow. With this i want to say that is not bad that you want to enhance your body and feel and look better, but i certainly think that cosmetic procedures should be the last resource to go to. If there is a natural, cheaper, and more effective way to get those results, why not do it? BBLs are not good nor in the short run nor in the long run. We dont know how an 85 year old lady will look like with that old BBL. A lot of the "looking bad" issues come from a lack of fitness in my opinion. Even training your chest can uplift your boobs (they wont grow in size, but some people get surgery to uplift them). Want to get rid of your fat? A healthy calorie deficit and training is the answer. I mean, dont overdo or overtrust plastic surgery.

You go! I got into bodybuilding back in the early 80s when I was a fat slug, smoking 3-4 packs a day. I did a lot of research. I figured out what made sense then applied it (I've always hated cardio lol I would avoid it till I was cutting for competition. As they say...I'm not fast but I can lift heavy things XD) I began making dietary changes a bit at a time, thinking not in terms of a "diet" but rather as long term lifestyle changes. In those days the ladies at the top of the female iron--pumping game were the likes of Lori Bowen, Carla Dunlap, Corey Everson and of course Rachel "Lish the Dish" McLish. Bodybuilding literally changed my life. I'm sorry that steroid use has essentially killed female competition. You can compete against the roid monsters or enter the "Miss Fitness" - you know, lots of aerobic dancing and competing in high heels. PUH-LEEZE! For those of us with good genetics and proportion who could pack on muscle with more ease than most women, there was no longer a place. Well hell competition isn't everything, been there, done that, won that, gotta keep going. I'm 67 now, and unfortunately I've been sidelined for a while, as my meat bag has been quite uncooperative lately- fibromyalgia and a lot of arthritis issues. Have had both hips replaced, need to do knees blah blah blah Aging is not for the faint of heart lol. My husband is 43 and we used to be the best training partners and we look forward to it again. (I still "coach" him though I'm not in the gym right now) I'm anxious to get back to it. I'm not dead yet! You keep doing what you do...pump out a couple reps for me! Best to all!

As a competitive long-distance runner, getting a BBL would actively sabotage my performance because the shifted center of gravity would literally kill my pace. Bigger legs also mean more weight to move, which would cause those muscles to tire faster. I’m glad that I have a goal that isn’t based on aesthetics and that I’m 100% dedicated to. This way, my self-worth isn’t dependent on the way I look to others, or even to myself. Maybe, my 2 cents on this is that you should find a hobby, direction, goal, or purpose in life that you can actively work towards, something that makes you happy and productive, leaving no room to be ‘influenced’ into something as dangerous and nonsensical as a BBL.

to be honest, to some extent it is not a doctor's full fault when these things happen. ALL medical procedures have possible complications, and with the BBL the surgery happens to be high risk on a base line. no matter how many BBLs a surgeon has performed, the risk is never fully removed. they said in the video that this particular man had performed thousands of surgeries and only one was fatal. i think he was good at his job but eventually, the risk cannot be evaded no matter how good you are. a possible fatal outcome it is inherent to the BBL.

I lost my empathy QUICKLY for people who have consequences from cosmetic surgeries and "enhancements" like with the lip and veneeer "techs." But, I need to explore why I feel so angry with the mothers specifically who underwent these procedures and lost their lives, heavily damaging the lives and futures of their children for something that, at it's root, is selfish and temporary. Maybe it's because it echos the resentment I feel when I see women choosing men (because we have to be honest and acknowledge this is all for men, at the end of the day. Be it a specific man or the male gaze in general.) over their children. Or it's the lack of thinking things through when the risks and costs are so so so high. Am I off base or being cruel? Tends are temporary. Beauty is temporary. Children, family, and the ones who love you matter so much more than these temporary things. Your video covered everything that someone needs and should know before they fold over and undergo these procedures. Thanks for putting this info out there! ❤️

I think in a lot of situations where people are getting bbls or other surgeries they are just not informed or not informed well enough of the risks and how likely they are. I went to see a knee surgeon and he described a particular procedure as being super easy and not complicated at all, super non invasive. In reality, if something goes wrong the possible complications could be fatal; damaged major atery, blood clots, nerve damage, excessive bleeding, infection. I'm not saying that you should only do surgery if there's no possible complications, there's risks in everything. But it's just scary and wild how he described it to me in comparison to reality. I think he just wanted the money to be honest, not very 'hippocratic oath' in my opinion

You can get a nice butt by working out, but not really to the extremes of surgery unless you're lucky enough, or unlucky enough who knows anymore, to lay fat in that area over others. I think beauty is in everyone's unique features. I like mine because I can see my parents, grandparents and siblings in my own features. The only thing I would change is taking care of my skin, and working out to be strong and fit (not to get a 'desirable' body), though if any days a good day to start, it's today. It's going well.

27:00 Cell Saver is a special machine used in the OR that is hooked up to the suction tubes. It is used primarily in trauma, organ transplant, open heart, or MAJOR surgeries where excessive blood loss is to be expected. That last part is why you should NOT get a BBL. If the surgeon requires the cell saver to be in the room then they are PLANNING on you losing a life threatening amount of blood. The machine sucks up the blood to be filtered and reoxygenated. The blood is then infused via IV back into the patient. This reduces the need for donor blood transfusion. The majority of outpatient surgical suites do NOT keep blood on hand in the event of extreme blood loss - another reason you should NOT get a BBL.

The rise of social media has made some doctors care more about views than doing the surgery correctly and once you're under you really don't know who's actually cutting on you. I had a medically necessary procedure and had no idea that the surgeon I signed up to perform the procedure was actually just observing a jr surgeon in performing my procedure. I’m not gonna lie that girl talking about how the bbl ruined her life made me want to cry because it’s basically why I developed an eating disorder. I have always been really curvy with large hips and I’ve always hated it and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. But I’ve had this “womanly” curvy body since I was 12 and I was constantly sexualized by older men. Boys my age wanted nothing to do with me, they wanted the skinny girls who still looked like kids. It was nothing but older creeps who wanted to talk to me and I would because I wanted to feel pretty and loved so bad and of course it ended horrifically. Then I just wanted my stupid curves to disappear. I HATE not being able to wear baggy clothes or cute elegant clothes without it looking stupid or making me look fat. The first time I gained a lot of weight I developed pretty large breasts and the attention and harassment I got brought me to breaking point. I had bulimia on and off since 7th grade but this was the first time I had managed to do an extreme restrictive diet and lost a ton of weight only to eventually gain it all back when my mom got sick and I had to take care of her and my mentally disabled brother. I’ve gained a bit more weight in my stomach this time and it’s almost worst. Sometimes I do just wear baggy clothes because I just don’t want anyone to look at my body. I’m so disgusted by it. I would give literally anything to just be thin but no matter what I do I always end up failing and I just don’t know how much longer I can live in this disgusting body.

Nope! I was made fun of for being so skinny and having no butt, but I started to develop up stop really fast I was a 32 D cup at 12! And older men in their 30 would try to talk to me I would wear extra shirts to try to hide them I was embarrassed. But I’m 50 now and I could care less! I was also bullied because of my skin color I always wanted to be darker! So my point is your body is yours not someone else embrace it! Your absolutely gorgeous! Stop letting idiots make you feel ashamed of your gorgeous body! Eat what you want to,but try a little healthier meals and in portions! My weight fluctuates it’s just how women are! Stop hurting yourself because of these people! And by the way your beautiful inside to especially taking care of your brother and mother! Proud of you!😊

It's crazy to see women who regret their BBLs complaining about not being able to fit into trendy brands. Like that is just the standard experience for heavier women and women with wider frames (often POC). I've got a smaller somewhat wide frame, am about 30 llbs over what my doctor recommends, and I have a really hard time losing weight. Pretty much all of my extra weight sits between my boobs and my knees. I live pretty exclusively in men's shorts and sweatpants because jeans rarely fit me properly, and I get unsolicited comments whenever I wear leggings. Edit: That woman around ~19:00 is the exact kind of person I'm talking about. Rattling off all the awful terrible woe-me things while not realizing that stuff like that is just the lived experience of a lot of women.

Bbl or not, if you're categorizing things around you and your own outfits and your looks by online trends, you shouldn't be so much online. Icb how much what others say on social media influences oneself idea of who they're. We need a huge disconnect

I get the point of that girl saying having a bbl did not allow her to dress like she want it, bc happened to me all the time and I don’t have a bbl, I’m naturally curvy. I love your point about the "homoginization of beauty". People really and truly ARE starting to look the same, at least famous people and influencers. Not so much here in Scandinavia _(I'm Swedish but I've lived in Norway for 8 years now)_ even though some famous people here look very much alike for other reasons anyway. I haven't really seen BBLs among the Scandinavian influencers, artists and/or other famous people from around here, it's just not something that people seek out to the same extent over here. I know some people have done BBLs here too, but it's not a "phenomenon" as it has become in the US and some other places around the world. That's a veeery positive thing in my eyes, because otherwise everyone would look the fucking same _(or even MORE alike than they already do)_ since most of them already are full of fillers in their lips and everywhere else, so I'm at least happy that BBLs haven't joined the arsenal of horrors that women do to their bodies to feel accepted around here. I just hope it stays that way. This was the first video of yours I've seen, and it was very good! I'm gonna watch some more of your videos and I've already subbed! Keep it up, you're awesome! Much love to you, and anyone who may read this, from this 34 year old _(somewhat crazy)_ Swedish woman in Norway ;D

@@asmrtpop2676 I said tend to bc of course genetics plays a role. In the 1800s Weston A Price studied how people who lived along railroads had much worse dental health than those who didn’t live near railroads meaning they ate better basically. Most of Asia has modern food and if not it’s in a poorer rural area where they eat like a bowl of rice a day and are probably nutrient deficient. Hope that doesn’t offend you as I don’t mean to. My grandpa lived in China & Vietnam. I know they know a lot about good health. But that matters less when you eat like crap.

However, at 42 I feel sad to see how present girls and young women feel pressured always to look beautiful and feel that you are nothing without big booty, boobs, lips etc. Like looks is everything. Money is also a huge issue, there are good plastic surgeons but their rates are also "good". So people go to cheaper places and then a disaster may happen especially with BBL.

I was naturally bottom heavy with a small waist. Everyone recognized me at the club for my body. That was years ago! When I was younger and at my normal weight, I never felt the weight of my hips. Fast forward to today, I have gained about 40 lbs, have gotten older, and I can actually feel the heaviness of my bottom -- sometimes causing lower back pain. I have never been a fan of a big butt but God blessed me with one, so I don't have a choice but to keep it. However, I could never understand why women keep getting them, and I always wonder what their BBL experience will be like when they get older, since mine is 100% natural and it is giving me problems. Of course, carrying the extra weight does not help, but I am working on that!

As someone who has had cosmetic surgery, always do your research. It’s important to ask all the questions during the consultations. Don’t ever go for cheaper, money doesn’t matter when it comes to someone cutting on your body. Also, be prepared for aftercare because that’s when life threatening complications happen. Always go to follow up appointments. Go to the ER if you feel a fever or sick. Most importantly: walk! It helps prevent embolisms. It will be hard but moving helps with circulation. I’ve never had a BBL. I don’t want it because it’s so dangerous. My surgeon refuses to do them.
