If you're worried about the maintenance cost on these exotic vehicles then you probably can't afford the car to begin with. It basically comes down to LIABILITIES AND ASSETS. Most cars we buy depreciate in value over time. However there are some rare exotic & classic cars that increase in value and can make you a nice profit if ever sold. I love Ferrari, but yes it's unfortunate about keeping the miles low. What's the point of owning one if you can't fully enjoy it... similar to buying a beautiful house but only being able to live in it 6 months out of the year!

Hey Will something you haven’t said or perhaps I missed is that initially I bet you were pretty frugal and you saved a ton of money with your software engineer salary before you moved and created your own business(s) and invested in multiple businesses and real estate. At first is pretty tough and you got to be disciplined with your money. You won’t be able to own your business with 10K or 40K if we want to be realistic. The first phase is what people don’t see. They see when you already have various successful business and decent cash flow to invest. Use your other businesses and assets as colateral to finance other your investments.

That’s a good point. Well before I started my business I was making about 90,000 a year salary and was able to save up about $45,000 before I quit my job. God is good. I stepped out on faith and action and things worked out 💪🏽 but yes I had to be smart about saving and not over spending for sure

One of my neighbors has a F348 Spider. It has 50k miles on it and is 30 years old. It is also one-owner. Yes, he bought it new. He has always serviced it at the Ferrari dealer and so he has complete service records. Perhaps because he is older now, he doesn't take it out as much these days and so offered it to me. I'm not much for convertibles but am considering it. His Ferrari will not only retain but is likely to increase in value over time. Oh, once out of warranty, routine maintenance is more expensive than regular cars (how can it not be?). Some of the older models also have higher routine maintenance costs. Oh, and congrats on the car. I'm more of a Mercedes fan, but in the exotic car arena, it is Lamborghini all the way. Of Ferraris, only the 328 (Magnum PI) and now the F348 has piqued my interest.

Most people don’t know your paying for the maintenance when you buy the Ferrari but the young men that want it can’t buy it cash. When people buy used Ferrari they usually buy a headache and why that brand of cars want to keep taps on the car maintenance for new ones. But you can’t drive the hell out of the car and get free maintenance, please tell them that. And the miles have to be low per requirements. Great car to have if you can really afford it. Lamborghini is more obtainable for the everyday working man. 1000 dollars a year to drive for 3000 miles year and sit in the garage is not bad on Lamborghini.

I have my own cars but anytime I meet someone else with a car I like I am curious as to the story behind it but even more so when I was trying to figure it out. As a matter of fact this is the first time I recall seeing a comment saying that but I get a ton of comments from young guys asking how I was able to afford it.
