I'm half way through this video Gabriel and I'm reminded of a tour we did up a mountain three years ago when we were staying in Hisaronu. It was a paid trip on a small bus. It must have been Babadag mountain I think. When the bus was nearly at the top it parked up and Some of us walked the rest of the way to the top. There were some fascinating ruins of old buildings that you'd have loved. There looked to be the remains of a temple among other bulidings from Hellenic times. I was amazed that they could construct the buildings so high up. If you haven't been up there, you will have to go when you're in that area.

female from turkey here. Now, my experiences might be different bc I'm younger, but usually if you are a solo female, try and stick to the more touristic places just in case. Turkey has high femicide cases (bc of close males) so you should be okay with that, and generally its quite safe. You should however be WAYYY more cautious than him tho. Also try not to look lost and know how to navigate as that can help you. likewise, this is just general, walking at night is pretty safe if youre near ppl, try to not act as a foreigner so your prices don't get jacked up, also idk elsewhere but in touristic cities just watch out for scams lol.

A little late to the video because I was into politics the last week. But they picked a good spot for a castle there. Good view for them. If this is true which I just saw the preview for a documentary called stray, then I have a new found love & respect for the country of turkey & it's people, for I love dogs more than people. I say that cuz my dogs only want my love & company for their entire lived & I cannot say the same for my human loved ones. Dogs are my weakness because of this & the honesty in their eyes. Turkey should be my home if this is the case. Dogs only want our attention & affection their entire lives.
