Just because yu tu is apologizing that doesn't mean he is at fault, he knows being and working at space center is hard. He wanted someone to stay and make him feel OK being who he really is, who would support him and stand next to him. Jing wasn't smart but she is sweet and caring she would support him regardless of money. While her the only reason she dated him was for Jing and when she saw yutu was helping Jing with the game she knew it was over between them.
