It was very special seeing The Courettes for the first time at Austin’s Chess Club. Back in the ‘90s, this venue was the legendary drag queen punk rock dive bar Blue Flamingo. Many life changing shows there by The Motards, Sugar Shack, Sons of Hercules, Turbonegro, The Candy Snatchers and many more.
