Hi Junius and Mrs Maltby. I am a recently new viewer from Australia. Your content is very different and thought provoking. Quite different from the run of the mill buy gold and be safe videos. The 5 paintings remind me of the 4 turnings of the saeculum from the book The Fourth Turning, which I have just finished reading. I suppose one way of thinking about the paintings is that each could represent a saeculum, or single lifetime. So just as the Roman, and British Empires spanned multiple lifetimes, so too do the paintings. And interestingly, the US would now be in its 4th or maybe 5th saeculum I think. Anyway, great video. Very much enjoyed it. Cheers from The Land of OZ, the future Kangaroo Empire.
