Mike D would not remember me....but I remember him at Benicia youth center and 1st street across from the Seal. After a show at in Pinole at Eggplants house... I went to Mike and said they were incredible and sounded like Husker Du (another MPLS band) Mike thanked me and moved on. I had many mini encounters with GD...like passing my newborn (Ian) around downstairs at a Benicia youth center show. Do they remember that?

Hearing this song really highlights how inferior Billy Joe Armstrong’s songwriting is to Paul Westerberg’s and how much better of an overall band the Replacements were compared to Green Day. No offense, just telling it like it is.

@@Supermanfan99 well the replacements led me here. I'd say more people count them as inspiration than that of GD. They are definitely more notorious than GD. All around I'd say most people, including GD, would consider them better songwriters so it kinda is fact. Its still okay to like GD more.
