Yeah, I live just north of Fort Worth. It's a nice place to go to. I like it better than Dallas, there are a lot of people from out of state there who really look down their noses at native Texans. Fort Worth is also good because you have less of a chance of getting shot there than in Dallas.

@g2499867 sadly, almost every city along the I-35 corridor has turned into urban sprawl. You would be hard pressed to find ranches in fort worth on which to live. To find ranches you need to travel about 30 minutes to an hour east or west of the corridor.

All of this "cowboy culture" actually originated in Mexico, so this, too, is cultural appropriation.
@arng1117 жыл бұрын
Yatziri Anti-colonialism Third video I saw you say this, so this will be the third time I will remind you that cowboy culture came to Mexico from Spain, a European country. shove your cultural appropriation where the sun don't shine.
@aahlstrom937 жыл бұрын
Yeah because the Mesoamericans were TOTALLY cowboys and it had nothing to do with European Spain.
@aahlstrom937 жыл бұрын
Right. And Spain is a white country. A European country. I'm white. Therefore I am a cowboy. :) simple. Sorry Mrs. Velazquez but I believe I have roped more cattle in one day than you in your entire life! This gringo is a more of a vaquero than you! I used to work with some Mexicans from Monterrey and they called me a vaquero so I guess it's official!
@aahlstrom937 жыл бұрын
Mexican vaqueros called me a vaquero, they really didn't to seem to think it was a big deal. I don't think you've ever worked a day on the ranch in your little missy! Because the people who actually work on a ranch, whether you're white, hispanic, or black don't care the least about who's a "true cowboy" because we've got too much work to do. Now get back to studying for your cosmetology degree!

Spaniards introduced basic skills of cattle and ranch life but mestizo Mexicans went further by making their own style known as the vaquero or cowboy in english. Mexicans in north Mexico had this vaquero lifestyle for years and then white anglo pilgrims stole the culture from us.
