Hell for a 1965 song written by 2 kids barely into their teens. Why this didn't chart is beyond me . As far as the song I just wanta be me should have been out there with anything that was playing on the radio...

Seeing them perform "Deliver Me" warms my heart. Bill's version of that song, with 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒔, literally sent chills up my spine the first time I heard it. 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒔 guitarist Jeffrey Hatcher wrote it, but Bill put his own indelible stamp on it.

Gerald Butler: Did you not grow up in the 60s? Oh, NO! What you may have missed when The Cowsills where the original musical family in their prime! Their original albums are still available on Amazon if you would like to do some catching up.

Is that Barry’s Gretsch that Susan is playing?
@marktoohey70465 жыл бұрын
Michael Hill: Very astute of you to notice the Gretsch guitars! The Gretsch staff head will catch my attention every time! The Cowsills always preferred playing Gretsch (with the exception of Barry's Hofner bass in the early years). I wonder whatever became of Bill's Country Gentleman; I saw a video of Barry playing it, filmed some years ago. I will never forget Bill performing The Beatles' "Michelle" solo on the Gretsch when I saw them in Canton, Ohio in 1970. Awesome! I have always been a Gretsch lover myself, and finally acquired a vintage 1962 Chet Atkins model Country Gentleman, and a VOX AC30/C2 amplifier in keeping with the George Harrison tradition!
