Yes! Lulu did the ultimate fantastic version of this song thats been the gold standard for 50 plus years. Now Susan is belting it out of the park, so clear, so melodic, so inspiring! Those Cowsill kids are such a big part of American Music. wonder who is managing them?

I'm listening to this in tears. I've followed the Cowsills, and have been a Cowsill loyalist since 1967, when I was 12 years old. They've just gotten better and better and better, and bigger in my heart over the years. I like this much better than the original by Lulu. Susan is just phenomenal as a person and a musician. And if you've never heard it-- listen to The Cowsills CD called "Global" from 1998! It's outstanding, stupendous, incredible and phenomenal--and reveals the talent of the Cowsills like you've never heard them!

A great sounding voice, and she sings the melody. So many women these days sing around the melody. Bending the note every which way. My two favorite female singers right now are Susan Cowsill, and Johnette Napolitano, from Concrete Blonde. Both incredible voices, and they sing the melody. Melody is important. It's what makes a song memorable.
