The Craft Movie Reaction: A Real Witch Watches The Craft

To launch my reaction videos, the 1996 movie The Craft would be the perfect one to begin with. I've written 12 books on the occult, own a metaphysical store, and cast spells for clients. So, why not have someone who knows magic begin reacting to witchy and occult movies so we can observe, laugh, and even learn a little about magic on our journey?
Following her transfer to a high school in Los Angeles, Sarah (Robin Tunney) discovers that a group of three aspiring witches are drawn to her telekinetic skill and are looking for a fourth person to join them in their rituals. Like Sarah, Bonnie (Neve Campbell), Nancy (Fairuza Balk), and Rochelle (Rachel True) all come from difficult homes, and when their raw abilities are combined, the results can be disastrous.

Really enjoyed watching this watch-through (and your jokes and commentary had me laughing!). Never seen movie (intentionally avoid this genre, b/c hollywood tries to make it scary, and don't want to invite any spirits of fear), but seeing this watch-through was fun!

I like this watch party idea, would love to see more. Re: Fictional god Manon, I tend to think that over time some fictional gods / mythology in pop culture can "become real" a la 'thought forms' with massive fan followings with re-enactments, comi-cons/conventions, general inspiration, and lore, etc.

The actress to plays the character of Sara stated she was sick and her hair fell out at the time she was chosen for the part. They had to make a wig for her to wear while filming The Craft she did a GREAT JOB 😅
