Cremona’s traditional crafts for violinmaking hasn't changed much since 16th century. In the modern time, the locals continue to make great efforts to preserve the culture heritage. International Violinmaking School, University of Pavia, and more than 150 violin workshops and 250 violinmakers safeguard the centuries-old craftsmanship to the future.
