Love to see you revisiting this movie for yet another great video, it was actually your edit of 'Chunking express' for the song 'California dreaming' that funnily enough I saw at the start of the lockdown from last year that made me discover the beautiful and melancholic cinema of Kar-wai Wong and I can't thank you enough because if it weren't for your brilliant edit, I would've never experienced those movies at the time that I'm so glad I did.

This movie was an odd one, I havent seen anything else like it. I was left crying uncontrollably after I finished watching it and I'm not quite very sure why. Just one of those things I'd like to cherish as a memory, "oh that happened to me..." Anyway, felt like sharing that!

Well of course other Wong Kar-wai movies like Fallen Angels, Days of Being Wild, In The Mood for Love, Happy Together. Then i suggest you to take a look at Edward Yang works like: YiYi, Taipei Story, A Brighter Summer Day. All of these movies by Edward Yang and Wong Kar-wai are featured on my channel. Other random suggestions are: "Made in Hong Kong" by Fruit Chan, Nobody Knows by Kore'eda, Millennium Mambo (video on my channel) by Hou Hsiao-hsien, Hana-bi by Kitano. if you want a bit of thriller/noir vibes i can suggest both Diao Yinan pictures: black coal, thin ice and the wild goose lake (both featured on my channel) If you follow me on Instagram you can find plenty more suggestions ✌️
