Smoke circle question: we are asked to present 1 song as a species to showcase to our new found "alien" friends, what song do you pick? THIS ONE is on my short list of considerations. Absolutely perfect song creatively and structurally. ......and I'm a metalhead......
@robjgolde3221 Жыл бұрын
@@EverythingN.Nothing ohhh that’s a good one. I don’t know if I have one particular song, but I do have a short list too, and “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys is definitely on it. This song may be on there as well.
@EverythingN.Nothing Жыл бұрын
@robjgolde3221 It doesn't get any better than the Beach Boys. SO many hits and so easy to listen to. It was a fun discussion. Tiny Dancer, Africa, Boston, I Will Always Love You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Chopin, Hendricks, Beatles, Michael Jackson, and The Cranberries were just a few we discussed in our 3-4 hour long conversation but we landed on "Tequila" by The Champs. So, there's our collective level of sophistication. "Death Will Reign" by Impending Doom and "Blasphemian" by Infant Annihilator were quickly tabled by my cohorts for not "portraying positive imagery of the human race as a whole"... So-TEQUILA! 😂

Northern_Lights: Seriously? Are there any such atmospherics or is it just a figment of your imagination manifested by the soundtracks of Hollywood movies, usually sountracked by Jewish people. Of course it could also be the working ideas of the producer behind the board and the people that design how something sounds. But to make claims of "pure Irish Celtic" anything is frankly ludicrous.

I will never, ever forget the first time I heard this song, on the radio back from cubs in my mate's dad's car that had a rusty hole in the footwell on the passenger side. And this song came on as I watched the road flit by under the carpet down to cover the hole. I thought for years it was two girls, two voices, one hard and strong, the other soft and angelic, and everything about it beautiful. It was only years later that I realised it was all Dolores (and the band, obvs). An absolute work of art.
