Ufffff bro…. It’s 2024 now. That was 1999, 4 people, no auto tune, no sequenced playback, simple chords, but a unique voice, a unique sound, and nothing more than what the song needs! a master piece. Real music.

BINGO! Ever since I 1st heard this in '92, the drumming has always made me enjoy this song more and more. It's not the overt loud drumming that gets me... it's the subtle "background" drum roll between the lines sung on the tom toms. Thank you for letting me share this.

When I was traveling extensively back in 94 / 95 this was my 'takeoff' song. I always LOVED the feeling of the thrusters kicking in and rocketing down the runway. Always had my cd player queued up and would hit 'play' as soon as I felt them kick in. For most traveling is a beating. For me getting on a plane, going somewhere new or newish (lots of repeat trips especially Tucson) the feeling of getting there and this song always put a smile on my face and really gave me a sense of peace. The fact that she died of alcohol poisoning is very sad (I didn't know until I stumbled across this video and was reliving good times). RIP miss. The world is a lesser place without you
