2:30 The line the announcer has here, I was already connecting with before he said it. Look at how we can feel just by watching people we know represent countries help another in a human way, a natural way. Look how that camaraderie makes us feel. Man to man, all looking out for eachother. Every athlete knows that if the other was not there, neither would they. Don't mind me, I'm just another monad glad for the connection sport brings to us as a whole species of beings.

Eh, which part of "no brakes" makes you think they were too slow? :P
@ExzoSSG3 жыл бұрын
@@kernfel Bobsleds have a pully steering system which is basically a left and right brake for steering around corners. With a bad start like they had with not being able to get in the sled and the inability to properly steer at a high speed around bends results in a speed decrease. Not to mention a potentially fatal crash at the end (which thankfully didn't happen). If you watched the video you would have noticed they were almost 2 seconds behind on time. You may think you just push the sled and make it to the end with no work/skill/effort needed, but, they are much like a race car with how a driver plays a big role in the fate of the race.

What a sport! Chilling in a bob until it crossed the finish line. Some teams even have a console installed inside, play Mario Kart and giggle.

After the first guy struggled to get into the bobsled he probably said “well this can’t get any worse.”

Wow. So much went wrong that I thought I was watching an Ozzy Man review. Bless them for trying. So unfortunate, kind of the Spinal Tap of sledding

It doesn't look very dramatic, but the speed of those things are actually insanely dangerous

This looks like one of the scenes from The Office where something goes wrong and the cameraman chases after the chaos

KZbin recommended feels like a downwards ice slope indeed. And at the bottom is the corpse of Maru under a 1000 frozen boxes.

First the broom, then the paper fan, followed by the woman missing her sled and the Korean bobsled crash. Now finally: the trilogy has been completed.
