Many thanks for posting this video. I joined 52 (Valetta) Squadron at RAAF Butterworth in 62 and flew out with 50Coy despatches a good few times on supply drops from Laburn and Kuching, to supply the troops in the border forts.

@Alan Robert Joseph Batty MBE Sorry I didn't see your reply to Norman Doctor earlier. My brother in law the late Danny Nice (Danny was an air dispatcher) lent me Norman's disc about VX491, I was very moved by the story, which led me to produce this tribute.

A very good, well produced video, It was a pleasure to watch, as an ex Air Despatcher, who has done this job in the army, I must point out your spelling of dispatch is incorrect, the correct spelling is D E S P A T C H and not D I S P A T C H

oops, you are quite right about the spelling mistake, (I never could spell) My brother in law the late Danny Nice was an air despatcher, a very dangerous and important job, this video is dedicated to all who undertook this work.
