Felt like he was winning every single day but at some point a massive unit count difference built up despite the income difference. Other than urban blight the winning move was probably running from those two medium tanks. You could have easily wasted your entire army down there trying to push through that but by heading north they ended up accomplishing not much.

Starflash's playstyle feels like he's an in-game CO at this point... With a d2d along the lines of "non-indirect, non-infantry units have +20% attack but lose 30% attack and 10% defence if they didn't attack that turn". ...ok. For most of the video I wasn't convinced this match was so interesting. Then the comeback happened and I was almost laughing out loud. That was crazy! Urban blight is so strong for a COP on this type of map...

I discovered this channel like a month ago. Loved the advance wars games as a kid, and never knew there was an active online community still. Now with this out of the way, that was the single greatest game I have ever seen. A nailbitter start to finish. Plot twists. Comebacks. Domination. Even a Piperunner ! This game had it all.

Let absolutely no one say that this didn't count. I love that you play so much better than the grandmas at time pressure. I don't like that you say Kindle is OP, because lash is way better on this map. I am actually really proud of the engagements you had. Whereas Starflash was just ramming his units into yours. And I don't dislike starflash like I dislike incuggarch, but these grandmas really have to start playing more live matches. Move planner and 1 hour turns are crutches. It reminds me of back in school where I used to get 100 scores on tests I finished in 15 minutes, while the nerds struggled to get over 90 spending hours on the tests. RESPECT, MANGS! Good job, seriously, I loved this video, and I hope you believe it was YOU who won, not Kindle.

I just finished this match starflash had this match for so long but the extra value that urban blight gave you helped cut into the extra funds he was getting for being in the lead with properties

Yeah, this is why I disagree with Lash being the main pick on this map. Urban Blight is just too much value over the course of a long game. Lash might be able to win if she can get an advantage early, but her Prime Tactics doesn't come in fast enough for that. It requires you to have an insane turn where you basically win using your super, but that's tough to do in mixed base since there's so many fronts.

Based on the Kindle matches I've watched in this channel, including the video where Kindle economically demolishes a tier 0 CO like Kanbei, I seriously propose that Kindle should be bumped 1 tier higher (or at least open an argument to do so). I have used Kindle only a few times in Dual Strike only because I want to unlock her Alt costume design and for completion purposes. Now though, by watching competitive matches like these, I've grown a new fascination and respect for this CO and I might see myself using her more often~ Thank you for the contents! I've learned a lot after starting to watch people compete online through your channel. I never even thought that AW was still a thing a month prior to this. I've only played AW DS and Days of Ruin by myself for a decade, thinking that AW is a dying community. Apparently it's still being kept alive and going stronger than I've remembered. The other day I did win a match with Lash's COP by getting a anti-air to shoot down a bomber which had a forest in front of it. SCOP may just be better, but when you can make game ending turns with the COP it's definitely worth it. Funny enough that was against Kindle.

If you check the mirror on the top left, you have both of those properties, so denying Starflash from capturing them is help you keep your income lead.

A Byo-yomi clock system would work well with AW live matches. I think AWBW should focus more then they have in the past on live match format. I haven't gotten into the site really because most games are long form and I'll forget. That's what always happened in Diplomacy games at least.

Kindle is definitely scary for Lash, but the big reason you won is that Starflash tried to take your bases without sufficient artillery backup, and didn't respond to your tech up for a very long time.

You may not have the property advantage, but that doesn't seem to matter as your urban blight saps away 6-8 properties in value for repairs at the start of the turn. Half way through, starflashs turn, had 3600 in the bank and income of 26000, but at the start of the turn has only 23600 to spend :O
