DesignCoco x Madhouse one is the best Frieren one in my opinion. Koto's made her look mature and taller. GSC version, I need to see it colored, but she's just standing there haha decent base, though

something about the tatsumaki felt of to me in some of the photots and i realized what it was when i saw the fubuki counterpart. They made the artstyle more realistic but kept the eyes abit too big making it look wierd in some angles, i like their take though especially with the juicy lips sculpt and the more western artstyle (like in the goodsmile bishoujou series), its a good choice for a superhero based character

I feel your preorder dilemma lmao. I do far too many impulse preorders myself and cancel over 50% throughout the year to focus on the really good ones that i actually need to have (and because i run out of cash lol). But we all know if money wouldn't be an issue we would swim in figurines😂!

47:11 Ayakashi Triangle is very different to To Love-Ru, I wouldn’t compare them at all, I love both series. And Kentaro’s art has really improved since To Love-Ru, his panelling has gotten much better. I’ve already preordered this but I’m not getting the Matsuri, I’m getting the FuRyu Matsuri, I’ve also ordered the Bellfine Suzu, and I got the Union Creative one last week. But yea I feel the same way about Matsuri, that’s a guy haha.

Hey man, I was looking at that Tatsumaki figure. I’m thinking of getting this for my first resin so I don’t really know much about them. I saw “no inner body” under the description of it. Could you possibly explain to me what this means? Thanks

It usually means no nood version, or, you can't cast off a Resin Figure. Resin wouldn break if they are too thin. You have to swap out the entire part (which they appear to include in this set), so you at least get an entire torso and some brands even give you an entire extra figure. Because the description is mostly interpreted from Chinese, it is going to be a bit confusing since the words or meaning can sometimes be lost in the translation

I preordered Volume on TOM and used my credit to get her down to $150.00. I had been keeping an eye on her since announcement. Frieren I ordered but I did so on AmiAmi because I’m not sure if I’ll keep it.

That Cleyera Doll Renge was really disappointing for sure, even though they did a redone version a couple years later it still doesn't look the best. With the Vibrastar one though at least they have a good track record of figures already that turned out well. This version of Renge in particular also includes an additional 4 extra face plates for a total of 5 for no extra cost, something Kotobukiya could only dream of doing. Tamano Kedama figures seem to be booming, so many different figure makers are producing characters from their art.

Robin from HSR has been in the story since 2.0 but isn't playable till 2.2 update coming in a few days. This week nothing really impressed me to much for scale figures. The Xenoblade figure I loved, but don't collect resin figures :(.

44:55 Yea this is a massive miss, I don’t like this Frieren at all, the Kotobukiya is much nicer and it’s cheaper, it’s only ¥16k and it’s better in every way. I have that ordered & also the Madhouse Frieren & Fern, but I’m probably going to cancel that. My preorders that month are already at ¥160k.

To me it feels like her face can be better and none of the existing figures of her have captured her face perfectly yet. It's still very early though, because many of the more established 1/4 Resin brands have not jumped on the Stellar Blade bandwagon yet - maybe it's a work in progress as we speak

When you look at their history and past releases, yeah, they seem to be unable to replicate the faces well. Their design team needs to do something about it
