This version isn't OP, not in today's WoT. When it was introduced it was a 6-shot autoloader and you could kill a Maus with 1 mag. Imagine what it was like to be a T8 TD like say, a Ferdi or JP2 and run into one of these on a city map... or a Death Star in the middle of a reload (back when HESH meant something and HE was scary). Back then TDs hadn't had their view ranges and camo after firing ff'd with and WG hadn't nerfed the dispersion and AP velocity on the German 128mm guns yet, so you could drop 3k damage on weak spots at 400m in 10 secs. The original clip reload was 40 seconds, I think. WG should just stop pretending they give a crap about game balance and put the WT back into the tech tree.

Platform etc was crap even back then on it. The 6 shot could delete anything. Even a Maus indeed. But after the nerf everyone went to the 15cm with full HEAT that sent rounds out faster than the Foch 155 with 3K burst damage instead. Even with the 6-round mag with close to a 60-second reload, or even the 48 seconds on the 15cm. It was at least for me how the old one delivered the burst damage that made it broken. Or rather how fast vs the norm back then.

As someone said before, the waffle is now used as an "event tank" as a quick content, but i disagree with you, saying the tank won't be a treat for random battle, at this moment the fv4005 is the only tier 10 able to one shoot a tank but his gun handling hold it back from being good in the hands of most of the players (it has like 45%wr even tought it is one of the most played tank). The waffle, even if bigger, also have a way more deadly gun, damage wise but also gun handling wise wich are aspect the fv need to use it's 3 equipement to improve, the waffle, while big, doesn't need gun handling, so you can invest bond exaust and camo to gain a total of 14% camo, so in my opinion, the waffle has it would take a TD slot, can achieve much more destruction than any other TD, as it could invest in many more equipment, we would had acces to field mods and crew skills, and even if 95% of the player would fail to understand and make the tank work, the 5% who know would make the game unbalance, as one good player can take out entires squad of weakened tank. Honestly, i did all my obj 260 td 15 with this tank when i wasn't a good player a few years ago, now that i came to understood and like more peculiar play style, such as the rank 9 td before grill 15, i can say with confidence that i would spam the waffle if it was ever going back in the game, but would never would be able to 3 mark it, as it would be set to at least 5k or 6k

I think the Waffenträger Auf. E-100 could return to the gam permanently, it's pretty easy to outplay and Intuition makes switching to HE and clapping this tank while it reloads a breeze.

WT is a weird case for me. Even though it has no camo and armor at all and this disgusting long reload time of 51 seconds, I'm having a lot of fun playing it. I find it sad that this tank is only available once a year in the event and you have to either be lucky to get rental battles from the event or pay money and be lucky to play it. I bought 75 boxes yesterday and got 40 rental battles. I wish it was more but considering that it's only a 1% chance to get them, I should be grateful to have gotten any rental battles at all. Another thing which I don't like that much is that you are not able to change the crew skills but tbh if you'd be able to do that, then the tank would be a lot more stronger (faster shell velocity, higher penetration + alpha damage, more mobility and so on)

Tbh with like 3s intraclip, and they could easily put this back into game as is. One of the biggest things was, that this tank used to have E100 hull, so you could very easily bait people with your back mounted turret.

Im pretty sure this tank will come back to wot, it is not op any more, sure you can clip most of the tanks, then u reload for about a min, once you get spotted there is big chance that you not goona survive, your cammo is so bad that, you are already spotted even when battle did not start, In current wot it will be avarage tank, one battle you can clip someone like there is no tommorow, then next battle, you not goona hit anything and get he by everyone, Still one of my fav tanks, and I hope it will be back one day, with this amazing skin from wt event, It will deiniftely not break the game as its not op anymore as it used to be, and for players to remeber this tank it will be a gem to get it back permamently.

I totally agree 😅 this tank should be added back to the game. There is still some fear factor, but most of the time you will be deleted from the game for 1 mistake before it really started 😂 so you must be really careful. And that is leading to longer battles. Just pure fear factor, and that is good for to the game.

Yeah it was more of a monster back in the day. It could shoot six shots and remain invisible due to the TD camo perk. Now even heavies can spot it from a ways off unless it's double bushed. Good ambusher but less good sniper

The weirdest (and kinda logical) thing about wt being back in period of waffentrager event is that it's significantly easier to complete MT15 mission Cause people are playing wt obviously And way more people are playing deathstar and barn tanks for one shots opportunities So there are way more tds than usual in that period (tho they are quite scary) Nevertheless there are significantly more td's hp in the battle pool making it way easier to achieve

It's funny, because the Foch B is just as, if not, a worse menace; it's more mobile, and MUCH faster clip reload... and actually has some armor unlike the waffle... Not the most broken thing in WoT. BZ is here. Also, the thing why i left WoT, clickers, are still having a big impact on my gameplay today. I didnt play for 8 years till few months ago, im not even the half of the player i was, im getting there slowly but when i try to challenge myself and mark my tanks, which aquires some very agressive gameplay i get rekt by those fcks. So, still the most broken thing is arty not allowing you to have agressive gameplay. Not to mention how they can snipe LTs. The worst nightmare must be for beginners in low tiers, i bet many of them just uninstal or sit in those crappers as themselves, like i did in those times.

this is so weak, i'm thinking back in the old days with the derp auto loader and with the old aiming chances(80% of the times shots were fired in the half 50% of the aiming circle... good times...) this tank was a beast and oneshot for GC (with aim luck and dmg luck) and T92(aim luck). Played with a mate from me, he played with the e100 waffle and i played with AMX 13 90 (highest tier back in the day with lights). God we had fun, i was leaving with 1,5k dmg and about 4-5k scout dmg and he finished the game with about 5-7k.... in a normal game

They’re giving it to world of tanks blitz with 3 shot 500 dmg alpha maybe. FV4005 does 1600 dmg and in blitz it has 4 shots. If blitz is the testing grounds for new tanks sometimes then maybe it will come back to world of tanks in a balanced form. If it’s a premium tank they can never change it in world of tanks so they have to get it right the first time or it will be overpowered or disappointing and to readjust all the other tanks stats to serve a particular collector tank like WT E100 or BZ-176 is tedious.

6 shots with 300 or 280 is better imo. Unpowered is preferable because you can always adjust tech tree tanks easier than trying to balance everything to keep up with over powered tanks. If WT E100 alpha was like 280 it would be fun to have permanent and not be overpowered.

This tank actually was my first ever Tier X tank and I hate WG for removing it, not just a bit but a lot.I do however have to say, that this tank was like no tomorrow. You could go yo in Himmelsdork to that banana alley and if a Maus came to you, you just clipped it to the heavens of tanks or players...but is was not as powerful and allmighty as you may think. The older player base and the best ones hated it, because it could ruin completely what they were thinking to do at the time( usually never even mentioned about ) Russian mediums and also in some maps you just go somewhere and clip and stay safe. Just the other day I killed an Grille 15 with this autocannon lights now and that Waffle tractor has as poor armour in it's humangous turret... yes indeed... there goes to the wastelands this hulldown meta.Or you can discussa about if I met a Waffletractor wih my Fv 125B 183 or even with Foch 155... there HAVE BEEN ALWAYS THESE CRY BABES, but what tehy tend to always forget, that any of the tech tree tanks are available for others too??? If some tank is so fucking OP just play with it and dont weep like moron? And if your mother cannot provide for you the proper consultation, go to the shrink.

The SEA server has a guaranteed chance to give waffle battles on a gold reroll of a waffle crate due to gambling laws within the region. If you're on that server and are looking for games in the waffle - check your local country as always but this is confirmed within AUS + NZ.

It was balanced and was nerfed to the ground. Verify WTs APCR penetration loss, it is a scandall, on tier IX and on this vehicle. Perhaps the biggest in the game. Why? Only Wargaming knows. Ask them! What disapeared from my garage was the WT auf E 100 that they robbed and pushed the piece of shit called Grille 15. And now they robbed the Innovative Targeting from my Grille 15! Simply disapearead from the vehicle and in its place is the Bounty one installed before. And I search the support and they said that I never had the equipment. I earned the equipment in the maratons, passing by the steps, I have the final prize so it is impossible that I neve have had it like they told. It is a scandall, now they are robbing the player accounts.
