@@Diegoshadow85 id argue he doesnt need protection for opening classic outer walls, inside map yeah, mav usually shouldnt be used it is a bit risky opening walls with mav in general but nowadays people impact trick, kaid trick, bandit trick all the time that theres no guaranteed hard breachers anymore

I wish he was easier to use. Most of the time any attempt I try at that leads to the defenders peaking through the hole and shooting me. And its pretty hard for your team to defend you without getting peaked as well.

@@freshlymemed5680 i just tried mav yesterday again And it was a successful experience You just need to keep your angle to the wall sharp Like dont mav the wall just in front of you They cant shoot you that way The only effective counter is tachanka Even c4s dont get through the torch cuts People tried to impact me but it didnt do more than 10 health It was really successful Especially that you can ignore kaid and ban some other good defender

Me and my friend call this new quickplay bombsite they released "baby mode", because they for some reason come pre-reinforced for no reason now, and it somehow makes people see those few reinforces to just go "oh, there are some already? i guess thats enough." and just try to play around those, which really stunted the motivation to actually make rotates and inforcements around the site, really damaging the creativity as well as the meta. I feel like this new change was a big fumble from the dev team. I really hope they change it back....

The change is supposed to help teach people generally useful sight setups (as in general locations for things like rotates and reinforcements). Now I can see most quickplayers getting too used to the setup already being done, but I feel the change is overall good for players who want to learn general starts and potentially move from quickplay into other modes. I think it also helps ensure sight setup actually gets finished in the reduced prep time of quickplay.

I call that an "inbred meta". It happens in literally every game, and CoD is the prime example. There are maps, like Firing Range, where it has been re-introduced so many times; that people are so used to playing it a certain way, that there are certainly new innovative methods, but the old ones always triumph as the best. You can literally not play a game for 5 years, come back, and be touted as the best player in the game because no one remembers the old routes; or the new meta is so inbred that it completely forgot why they started playing that way in the first place.
