I don't like the idea of swapping an engine because it feels like ripping out the heart of the car. So my favourite engine swap would be the same engine because you blew the old one up. OR if you really wanna do an engine swap you might aswell go crazy. So go ahead, find the smallest car that you can fit a wwII plane engine inside of and do it. Easy 10x hp

The last clip is a Toyota Hiace, however judging from the sound of the engine I'm sure it is an Isuzu 4jj1 engine. It's a 3.0 I4 which is very tuner friendly and very common in racing in Asia. Think of it as the 4g63 of the diesel world. I hope this comment helped you

The one @ 10:58 I seen this van MRX built 2 years ago in person. Inline 8 cummings with 1 turbos per 2 cylinders in ass end of that van. all cooling and stuff you see upfront all piped in turbo overflow boxes and stuff super crazy build! The waste gates are not existent on that thing. all over flow gets blown into boxes and stored for next go weird build!

The drag van AKA the Toyota HiAce. Commonly found with a 3.0L diesel engine. Plus it's intercooled , turbo stock. Pumps out 138 hp or 130 hp depending on your country.

the last clip is a HiAce and it is the fifth generation Toyota produced (H200) and comes with a diesel and petrol of engines. the petrol once comes with two engines, the 2.0L 1TR-FE and the 2.7L 2TR-FE. the only difference is that the 2.7L has 24 more up and 64 more torque. the diesel ones comes with 5 different diesel engines; 2.5 L 2KD-FTV Low Version Intercooled/Non-Intercooled D-4D I4, 3.0 L 1KD-FTV Intercooled VN Turbo D-4D I4, 2.8 L 1GD-FTV Intercooled VN Turbo D-4D I4, 3.0 L 5L-E I4, 3.0 L 1KZ-TE I4 the differences of this five engines is the power and torque, and the 5L-E and 1KZ-TE didn't come with a turbocharger en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_HiAce Edit: also i forgot, i don't know what engine they used, could be the stock one and modified it or maybe they used a different diesel engine like Isuzu diesel engine i4 lineup.

1kz is a 3l turbo diesel motor that Toyota used to sell in their vans and hilux which were very tuner friendly as well. The new vans have a different motor but it could be they have swapped for the mighty 1kz
