I really like your sense of humor. :D This put a smile on my face, but I was very worried about your skin. I hope this convinces people to think twice about marketing!

I think companies are just attaching AI to their product names to get em to sell 😅

I always thought base gels were supposed to be applied thin. The thicker it is applied the more heat. I use a hard gel to get the nail structure and then use a very thin base coat on top of that. Maybe if you applied a thin coat first, cured, then went back to do the thicker coat it wouldn't burn so much?

she did that too. same result

Sounds like that AI is being thrown around a lot and that these AI base coats are a scam.

this isnt new tho? cold gels came out atleast 10 yrs ago in korea and japan , it was builder gels that didnt heat up when used in a huge amount
@Nailcou6 күн бұрын
Wow, I didn't know that, it was first time for me I came across gels that are called "cold" or "AI"
@Hiyorin8716 күн бұрын
@Nailcou i believe they were labled as "no heat gels" back then rather than "cold" maybe thats why? i think even venalisa came out with their own line of no heat builder gels if you look into it

It's a good job the AI base coat didn't answer your questions, I asked a well-known AI that has a female name, and apparently, the apex should be a third thicker than the root. Hope your hand is ok after the heat spike tests. ❤

3:28 this looks like a gimmick, but it might not burn so bad with a food grade plastic wrap. Love you Anastasia, please be careful! ❤

Could it be: that since it's a base coat, and not meant to be applied for structure; you're applying it too thick, and thats why you're getting heat spikies??!! Generally speaking, base coats are like a double sided sticky tape. Js

My thoughts exactly! Anastasia, I can’t understand the reason for using the base coat to build structure?! And you never show that being your process ordinarily, so I don’t think you do this on clients or anything. But testing a base coat and then not using it in the way you would ordinarily, seems a bit self-defeating as an experiment?

I never believe in such things lol 😂 I felt sorry for you and your wasted cling wrap.

I guess I'm just lucky, I never feel heat spikes no matter what products I use I enjoy these tests! ❤
