@christiantaylor1495 Жыл бұрын
You can't dance constantly. If it's high energy all the time, it doesn't contrast. Long periods without climax make the crescendo better. Usually when people make an album, the song with the best drop has the longest build up. You've got a weird idea of how this works. 1. People get to stop moving after dancing for awhile to regain stamina 2. It creates high dynamic range in the lower register, which is extra impactful at a club with loud bass 3. It makes the experience a lot more unique from just listened to the music like you would by yourself.
@gmarz9611 Жыл бұрын
@@christiantaylor1495 clearly been a while since you have been to a club. Yes occasionally pauses are fine, but this went on waay too long and then the drop wasn't even that good. If you want a rest, go buy a drink, the music is not designed to give you timeout. An album is a completely different mode, people listen to them at different times, cannot compare the two.

I honestly can't stand this type of music (I say 'type' bc idk if it should even be considered a 'genre' and 'style' would be way to generous a word..) but I can recognize talent when I see it in any form, even if it's something I hate.. so even still I was kinda hyped when the title and caption of a short made it seem like it was gonna be something sick or epic.. hella disappointing that anyone would call this music or be impressed by it... If you aren't familiar with the band Tool then I highly recommend giving them a listen, especially if you feel like you've lost hope for good music. They are an older band (started early 90's) but their latest album was 2019 and it is *chef's kiss* Other bands that restore my music-faith: Polyphia The Plot In You Shokran All 4 bands I have mentioned are quite different, but all have some of the best songs I've ever heard

@@ThisIsTheIkeMaster Bro just admit you don’t understand EDM & leave it that. It’s okay to not understand certain genres of music. You don’t gotta go on a spiel about how your music is better because it’s not. ‘I can recognise when something takes talent.’ Clearly you can’t, because DJing does take just as much talent as any other form of live music. This guy has tonnes of videos that demonstrate a wide variety of DJing talent. This video just wasn’t a great example of his musicality (and this video still demonstrates a good amount of skill & talent despite how dodgy it sounds, in the same way that it takes a lot of skill & talent to shred guitar at high speed even though it usually sounds like distorted dogshit; which bands like Tool definitely contribute a share of.) Just admit to yourself you don’t know what you’re looking at

@@matthewvaughan8192 If you've ever heard a Tool song and thought that the focus was "high speed shredding" then you don't deserve to voice your opinion on music.. sorry.. Use your gear properly, keeping the loudest part of the track at -3db or so and the master at -6. Brilliant. James is the skillmaster of all djs when it comes to vocal transitions and matching phrases through effects. I bow... you should teach the breakdowns of such performances, sensei!🙏🏻
