The spell. So if mine is level 10 and I complete it's full cycle, the next time it cycles back around, it will be a level 11 arcane blast

It's doesn't align with hero modifier, because no one plays heros at all. It means it's bug from product perspective.

Let me first say i think its horrible for the game as well but.. The modifier states troops and the collection has a "troop" count right in there that says 56/56 including spells in the "troop" category. I don't think it's a bug like so many videos claim it's just blizzard being blizzard.

Agreed. Nothing bugged about it in my opinion. They just didn't test anything with this game, which leaves them to pick up the pieces every time they change something.

I think maybe yes maybe no... traits/labels/wording is inconsistent across a lot of the game. That said, if this was the intended result that's even worse than it just being a mistake!!!

Don't think it's a glitch. It says troops deal double damage on their first hit. Everything except for leaders are under the category "troop"

It's not broken or bugged. The modifier says all troops deal double damage on their first hit. Spells are troops. They have changed it since though, to make it so it no longer effects troops, but they intended for it to work that way, they just didn't test it. It was genuinely fun though, even if for a short amount of time. 😁 Thanks for watching
