You totally sum up my thoughts and my love for the Godzilla franchise and any film that has great practical effects like Jurassic Park, jaws, Star Wars, and Predator. I’m somewhat getting into horror films franchise like Predator and alien. If I haven’t lived in Japan for two years, I wouldn’t be here in this community/fandom and become a hardcore Godzilla/kaiju fan or even liking and commenting on this video to express my love to Godzilla and practical effects that had affected my life. Practical effects and the wonders of imagination inspired me to be an artist.

Your opinion was so wiseful. That could be explain why I become a g-fan for 7 years because of all of this Godzilla franchise. For the king of the monster, It's his symbolism of world order and balance. He is amazing by representing the key. He is the key of life. He tell us what's wrong or right. he leads us down the path of good, and he will never stop doing so. He is a reminder of our world's past, and the terrors we once brought onto our beautiful planet.

I was almost entirely onboard until the cg vs practical effects. The process of working on cg can be equally as challenging to work with. But aside from that, loved this retrospective

I agree. This was my first time attempting any sort of retrospective and honestly I feel as if I didn’t do CGI justice and could have fleshed it out a bit more as I wasn’t exactly trying to downplay it more so showing the hardships of practical effects before the times of the computer and such.

Godzilla will always be king of the monsters. And I love him wether he's a metaphor for our mishandling of nuclear weapons, a force of nature, a antihero, hero, villain it doesn't matter to me Godzilla is incredible. You got a new subscriber.
