Here is some information about conjoined twins you'll find interesting. As Yammy said there as only ever been 3 cases of conjoines triplets recorded but sadly none have survived past birth so that story is ofc fake. Other things that don't add up in the story are the doctors not discovering about it sooner, there is no way in the world any half competent doctor could not tell because it's pretty evident. They way they also describe the sibling dynamic it's also unrealistic, since even if conjoined twins are diffent peopole, you could also consider them to a certian degree a hive-mind since they always act for the greater good of the both of them. For a final fun fact: humans are the only species known in which conjoined twins can reach maturity and indipendence on their own. Many two-headed animals are kept in captivity but in the wild they can't survive since, unlike us, they lack the brain power to coordinate their movements. It's not known if close relatives of ours (chimps, gorillas, exe...) would also be capable of coordinating with a conjoined twin.
