Woah, Sundown Adventureland, A park that gets little love in the UK, and this show is something I never knew was in this park, Cool!

I cannot thank you enough for posting this, me and some friends of mine have been on a search for these guys for what must be at least 3 years now, what started as a singular photo of their exterior has now made it all the way to footage of their showtape. Thank you, Euro Theme Park Archive, for finally closing the book on something deeply wanted by many.

I hadn’t seen this show before but I knew straight away from the bear with the rat in his hat and the Black Bird keyboard player that Golding leisure were involved as both them models were also used in the Jungle Palladium that was at Drayton Manor.
@EuroThemeParkArchive2 ай бұрын
They did quite a few shows with these figures but this is the only one with a full video I could find in the archives unfortunately, only brief clips of Jungle Palladium and others

Some of these characters can still be found at Sundown in one of the outlets on Cowboy Street

There used to be more in the ice cream parlour gallery relating to the show (the signs on the back wall ect) and wyoming coyote was in the haunted house for a while but these have since been removed sadly. Wyoming is in storage but i'm not sure about the props that were taken down in 2020.

I started working there in 96 still there. We've recently reopened the Buck & Duke show that replaced the Crazy Critters.

@djsdontdance per chance Paul is there a chance I'd be able to ask you a few questions regarding when the original show shut ect? There's a few things we know of but aren't sure about 👍

do you have any more footage of any other animatronic shows from Golding Leisure Design?
@EuroThemeParkArchive23 күн бұрын
@@henryhoover5869 A few more Ive uploaded but any others are only snippets unfortunately, or outdoor features instead of full shows. I’ll still show all the other footage in some form or other eventually

Would this there company known as "Golding Audio"?
@EuroThemeParkArchiveАй бұрын
This was built by Golding Leisure Design whose family also owned Golding Audio though they were separate companies.
@djsdontdanceАй бұрын
We still have some original Golding Audio sound stores in place with EPROM samples.

Would you happen to have the original show audio for the critters? I think it'd be great if you guys could get them working and running off the original show again.

Wait if this is just the good ole bears then how does everyone have mouth movements if everyone in the good ole bears can’t except Fred

@60025falconАй бұрын
It's not literally just the good ole bears, it's SIMILAR to the good ole bears, they were made in a similar time (both being mid 1987) but one is more advanced than the other as the crazy critters were intended as a proper theatre show while good ole bears were just a display thing you'd see on your way into the AA park (I think it's clear which one needed more funding and more advanced movement)
