The Crazy FIREBALL Festival in El Salvador

Each year on the of 31st of august, residents of small Salvadoran town Nejapa get dressed up with ghoulish masks, soak their clothes and a pair of gardening gloves in water, and take to the streets in two teams for the flaming show down.
We found out about this gem and decided to saddle up and head down to watch the flames.
Many spectators got hit by stray fireballs but everyone left with a smile on their face.
