Today, Lebanese citizens waving the flag of the Hizbullah paramilitary organization broke through a UNIFIL fence designed to prevent residents of Southern Lebanon from approaching the village of Ghajar - an Alawite village located partially over the Blue Line that today serves as the de facto border between Israel and Lebanon.
How did this tiny village of only 2,500 residents become such a volatile point of friction in the shadow war taking place between Israel and Hizbullah?
This video takes a look at the complicated history of the village and how it end up in its current situation of being perhaps the only village in the world which straddles the border between two countries at a state of ongoing warfare.
