Yes....I bought the album as soon as it came out. Read the liner notes and recognized the names immediately. A lot of guest guitarists on this album. Robben Ford did the solo on I Still Love You. Saw him live....he is INCREDIBLE!!

Great Trivia here. War Machine is actually one of their best records.

I have read that Bryan helped them out in several Kiss books, and they also credit him as a songwriter on the Creatures of the Night album.

Maybe the best Kiss album from start to finish and War Machine definitely one of gene's top 10 songs it's a badass hard rock song that makes you want to kick somebody's teeth in.

Great album but there is some junk on it. Keep me comin? JUNK! Danger? JUNK! And I still love you was borderline junk until I saw the tour and Eric Carr hammer the drums on that song. Definitely the heaviest drums on a soft rock song.

I thought it was common knowledge… Didn’t you people read your sleeves when you were kids? Bryan Adams also co- wrote down on your knees from killers with Paul

Exactly. I remember this from ‘83 by reading the liner notes and credits.

Yeah, Adams/Vallance were the two names responsible for many of the BA songs, how could anyone not notice that unless they weren't reading liner notes or not BA fans? Your right, common knowledge to most I would have thought.

It was mentioned in the Kiss book by David Leaf that Bryan wrote for Creatures.

Bryan Adams has wrote more than just a handful of songs for others. Down On My Knees, War Machine, Rock and Roll Hell w Kiss. Sticky Sweet w Nikki Sixx for Motley on Dr Feelgood album . When Then Night Comes, Edge Of A Dream, Feels Like Forever, all w Diane Warren for Joe Cocker. Tina, Aretha, Celine, Rod, and many others.

I knew this in ‘83 when the album came out and saw the credits. It was a surprise back then because I had an early Bryan Adams album before he was famous. It was a bad album and I smashed it on the sidewalk, but yeah I knew Adams wrote it when the album came out.

Sure...knew this. The biggest surprise is that Jazz great Robben Ford plays the excellent guitar solo on I Still Love You

Knew that....but not the detail. Wore my Kiss t-shirt to see Bryan Adams when he played my home town of Colwyn Bay, North Wales. I received a few snide comments but soon put them right!! Clearly didn't know their Kiss/BA history 😀🤟🤟

What are your thoughts on Gene not playing bass on Animalize.
@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony4 жыл бұрын
Who cares? Gene was loosing interest and Paul couldn’t wait for him. You think Gene played bass on Detroit Rock City? I don’t know what Kiss claims but that ain’t Gene. Gene’s not bad but some things he can’t do. And starting with Alive II Side 4 Kiss decided anyone could play on a Kiss album if Kiss wanted. It became a collective after they hit their peak in 1977.

I’ve heard that Gene wouldn’t give Adams a writing credit for war machine. In fact he Simmons took full writing credit for the song on the album because Adams was new and was not yet a recognized artist.

@@SteveSteeleSoundSymphony - it's funny that people keep hearing false information. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who hate Paul and Gene so much they post lies everywhere. Bryan Adams is credited as a co-writer on War Machine on the original release of Creatures.
