Through your poetry and visual art, the ancestors are talking to us! I feel it and everyone who lays eyes and hears on your masterpieces can feel it. I came upon your creation after praying to the ancestors to guide me in the next chapter of my life in Africa. Every night before falling asleep, I sage the room and I watch one of your videos. It opens portals to connect myself to other realms. I am deeply grateful I've found you and you've found me. Asé

I am honored and humbled by this sacred message. Thank you, Emmanuel. What we seek is also seeking us. The doors you knock on along your path can only be answered by you, from the other side. Where you are headed, you will find yourself already there, never having left. That is the true meaning of home. We thank the ancestors for the journeys we must take-into the wilderness and back home. May they forever illuminate your path.

The closest would be a constant drumming that is repetitive, try a djembe drum, with some frequencies added. But most drumming should do, no vocals, but chants can work. I havent processed this background music yet, but I will. As soon as I do, I will come back to this post and let you know.

Greetings and Salutations! I feel this in my bones and blood, flesh and soul. Our Ancestors are there for us, for anyone who is willing to quiet the noise and sounds of the current zeitgeist of rushed traffic, and the pointless struggle for more and more while killing and raping our Mother Planet. The mind must stop thinking to be fully present, the ears cannot hear if we think only of ourselves in a vacuum. We are connected to our community, our family, we are born into them, and when we die it is they who witness and say farewell. Western world separates one from family and community and in doing so also from oneself, until we come unraveled and then wonder why. If we are not rooted, we cannot stand.

I've been oblivious for a long time, how do I reconnect with Our heritage? 🇳🇬
@house_of_horus4 ай бұрын
Inquiry, knowledge, immersion, and introspection. You have already started. Everything starts with questions that burn within you. That yearning is you being pulled towards that understanding by forces beyond your comprehension. Follow the threads in language, culture, music, and the different philosophies of your heritage. They are like the North Star, your compass. Importantly, go forth understanding that what you seek is already within you. Trust your inner guide and, at the same time, explore this inner guide through meditation, quiet reflection, and journaling your dreams. Interpret your dreams based on the knowledge of your heritage. Understanding your heritage is understanding yourself. Self-knowledge is ultimately an introspective journey. Everything outside of you is there to assist you in this quest. You are already where you need to be; don't be preoccupied with the destination, simply immerse yourself.

I will no longer speak power, onto people who crave it the most. The African and the indigenous Americans, knows this proverb about those corrupted by the great evils on this Earth. Both of these lineages claimed me as their ancestral daughter bridge through the griot, shaman, and priestess life lessons and family teachings growing up. By way of both of their cultural ways of wisdom, and discipline traditions. I am the child both cultures brought forth as a testimony of their intertwined hopes and dreams as one people instead of separated tribes and birthing me. Their Afronative 🪶👑🥧 child 💖, to honor ALL of my ancestors in my own unique, God given way and my own understanding and my own inner wisdom because this is my own walk on this Earth. Honor the rhythms of your own body I what my divine love family taught me about navigating the natural world 😁💯

To remember the power of a holy name Everything returns from where it came From one life to another our memories go It is within our souls we know The mysteries of the most highs hand The sacred powers of his land From the heart our pleas are plead Where our ancestors feet once tread Loud enough to wake the dead Remembrance of what was once said No man put the crown on your head Humanity forgets it's only one race Everything has its own place Just as the waters return from where they came The sound of voices do the same A language that is so very misunderstood The fragrance of the burning wood Even the sprit of the.animals know A lions warning growl will start low A warning that many people ignore A lion is fearless to the core 💜

@@house_of_horusGreetings my brother, thanks for asking, sorry for my delayed response. What brought me to Zambia in February 2018, was a joto reading from a Vodun priest in 2016. A joto reading is what's done to know which ancestor rules in our current incarnation, in other words, which ancestor is guiding us. I happened to find out, my joto is an ancestor that was enslaved from the Tchokwe ethnic group, that currently resides in north eastern Angola, DRC and western Zambia. A year earlier, i met a Zambia brother, that resides in the UK online, he was planning to visit his family, and I joined to find a Tchokwe traditional priest... Unfortunately, the Tchokwe association in Lusaka was full of brainwashed Christian converts.😢
@house_of_horus5 ай бұрын
@@SoLNaTaL555 Indeed my brother, this is the state of many, if not most, official associations. Colonialism severed many of our traditional institutions, and Christianity imposed itself on our cultures. Answers do not lie there. Indeed it is likely that your guiding ancestor was an enslaved African. They are likely from a time relatively close to now. However, their specific identity is not crucial. They are part of a larger fabric woven with the community, culture, people, and ancestors of your tribe. You will also have other ancestors around you-more ancient ones who address your bloodline and tribal concerns. These ancestors come from various backgrounds: some were enslaved, some were kings, blacksmiths, aunts and cousins to chiefs, conquerors, conquered and farmers. This rich heritage is already part of you. You are already what you seek; you just need to connect with it. Through my initiations as a teenager and what followed, I learned that knowing an individual ancestor doesn't provide all the answers. Their stories may add to your questions rather than resolve them. Instead, immerse yourself in the culture, stories, and history. Although Christianity may have overshadowed many traditional institutions, the energy remains. It is in the language, art, culture, everyday life, and most importantly, within you-your biology and consciousness. You are already what you are looking for. Now, immerse yourself in it. Seek out the powerful masks of your people: “Mulimbula, Kalelwa, Mulenga Ngondo, Tshileu.”
