It only just dawned on me , the set decor is an homage to “ Sulk” .

It didn't register with me, initially, either... What a fitting tribute from Siouxsie, Budgie & co. Those first three Associates albums were brilliant & the chemistry between Mackenzie & Rankine was never equalled in their respective solo careers.

Mark Crawshaw . Billy’s solo work needed a better producer. It frustrates me because I can hear how those albums could have sounded. Imagine if Mark Ronson got his hands on the material ! He worked wonders with Duran Duran.

@@riggstwenty2 Agreed!!! I just wasn't a fan of the jazz/soul tinged stuff. It was the lack of convention (Great vocals combined with interesting song structures) that always appealed to me in the early days... Even Dogs In The Wild, Tell Me Easters On Friday, A Matter Of Gender, No, Skipping... etc etc.. All so unique. I Did enjoy "Beyond the Sun" a lot, though... Re: A Better producer.. Billy was notoriously difficult in the studio... Mike Hedges (who also did the best production job on Banshees albums) did a brilliant job with Sulk. I can imagine that, despite his vocal talents, Billy (Bless his soul) could have exasperated a lot of producers. :)

Agree. Hopefully, the two may collaborate, in a small way, on Sioux's next LP.
