Thank you for another great video. What you said about the issuers in Canada not being very strict about the promotions and how many times you benefit from them it's true. I've requested the TD Infinite Visa card three times and the three times they have allowed me to request it and take advantage of the promotional bonuses. Same with other institutions. Since I have products with several banks, I've requested products switches every time they have a promotion and they haven't minded at all.

It’s stupid how Canada doesn’t have this option where you can actually have someone be an authorized user to mind you I do you have a great credit score minus somewhere and 800 but if I wanted to get someone to be an authorized user, I can’t help them build their credit which is stupid don’t know why we don’t have any Air Canada

For the record, sole prop vs other registrations in Canada doesn't matter. Incorporated companies/partnerships still reflect on your credit bureau in Canada and it makes sense. If you're delinquent on one end you're likely to be on the other. Why should we lend you money if you can't pay your bills? If you're making money on the personal side, it counts on your corporate application and if you're making making money on the corporate side it still counts on your personal application.

You'd need a Canadian address (I'm sure there are mail forwarders out there), a Canadian bank account (to pay off your cards, you could get a TD Bank / RBC Bank USA / CIBC Bank USA account and use their cross-border banking), and then you'd do an Amex Global Transfer from the US to Canada. It's quite a bit of work to go through for bonuses that aren't quite as good on paper, though - there's definitely many more reasons for Canadians to work on getting US credit cards than vice versa!

The business credit card and account does not show up on the personal credit profile however the inquiry does but you can dispute it off in the U.S.A

Actually Canadian HSBC points are transferable to Singapore airlines. Amex points are also transferable to Hilton.

The actual answer is yes. Some issuers may require you to get an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). This isn't as easy as it used to be to obtain, but still fairly doable. It actually goes both ways to some degree- Americans can also sign up for Canadian CCs with a bit of effort (secured card from TD to start your file, build up 6-8 months of history, and away you go).
