The triangle elite card isn't just for Canadian Tire, you also get bonus at Mark's, Party City, Sport Check among others in the companies they own. Also another bonus is if you spend over $150 you can do 24 month interest free payment plan with no fees.

You also get free road side, a free oil change each year, the same discount program Ontario teachers get (not sure about other provinces) you can pay bills on the Canadian tire financial site without paying any extra fees (the usual 2.5% fee with all the other credit card utility payment options) they don’t charge it, and if I’m not mistaken you earn 2% on groceries and certain other categories. It’s a good card overall for no fee

Triangle World Elite Mastercard required minimum $80,000 annual income or $150,000 household income. Just a information, because I couldnt apply for that reason

The only issue with the Amex Green card is that it counts in the 4 Amex credit cards limit that you can have at the same time.

FYI: The Rogers World Elite Mastercard gives 2% cashback if you have a service with them (like I do) and an additional 1.5% if you redeem for a service with them...that's a total of 3.5%. I use it mainly to shop at Walmart (Walmart's own card is inferior to this) and Costco.

I know that the 55K points for business to Asia is on the chart, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen it when searching fares, no matter how flexible I keep the dates or far in advance I look. If I've seen a lower cost redemption, it's almost always a mixed fare with majority of the trip in a lower tier cabin. =(

To be precise, we are about talking Vancouver to Tokyo, or Seattle to Tokyo, will be priced at 55k by partner airlines which is ANA in this case. ANA flights are extremely hard to find as they are very popular and most of them have already been taken. If you aren't checking often, then it may be difficult to find the spot. Checking flights is my daily routine. In fact all those who fly with points regularly all checked their flights very frequently. It is a hobby that you have to dedicate lots of time into

@PrinceofTravel, thanks for the advice. It looks like I'll just need to check more frequently. Wish me luck 😂

I got a Canadian Tire credit card a while back but cancelled it because, while most lenders issue cards to me with a credit limit around $10,000, CT's card limit was just $200. Completely useless!
@PrinceofTravel
@PrinceofTravel 9 ай бұрын
That is indeed very low. But you could have tried calling them to ask them to increase the limit, this $200 is way too small. The smallest limit I've heard is around $2,000

Even in the early 90s, when I was a student getting my first set of credit cards, my lowest limit was $500. Back then, we could fill out one application and get up to 10 different credit and department store cards. They obviously made a mistake on your file.

Excellent video. However, I am watching it 9 months and the regular no fee Brim mastercard is now charging 1.5% foreign transaction fee.

Are you sure it’s a 10K welcome bonus for the Aeroplan one? Like after your first statement after you use it once? I’m confused because it says on the site the welcome bonus is 2500 points - 2500 more if you spend $3000 in the first four months - and an extra 5K if you spend $10,000 on eligible purchases within the first year. Am I missing something? Perhaps it’s changed?

Still giving those unrealistic minimum redemption prices huh?
@PrinceofTravel
@PrinceofTravel 10 ай бұрын
You need to actually put in the work to find those award seats with those prices. If they are so easily attained, airlines don't ever need to sell cash tickets anymore and everybody will be flying with points in those "Unrealistic" points redemption you talked about.
