I like the idea that the candy shop owner unalived her boyfriend, but instead of him being an "M" word, she's just super talented with candy and made actual candy to look like body parts, because spooky season, and it helped hide the real body parts.

My town does this thing called trunk or treat. Basically, parents come in their cars and park in a big circle and give out candy from their trunks. Parents will usually decorate their car trunks in halloween. You also have to sign up for it but it's supposed to be safer than wandering neighborhoods cause it's in a controlled environment. It's also usually done the Sunday before halloween.

Fun fact! Lady Finger are a real food. Popular in Italin dishes such as tiramisu. Also for the tongue lolipop. There was a recalled candy that was sold once that was a Jar Jar Binks Tongue Lolipop. Upon looking it up, I think you can figure out why it was recalled.
