Sam being prof Oak, is a fact, not a mystery. Legit the professor's name is Samuel Oak. There is Samson Oak as well, but out of question. The movie was way much earlier before the 7th gen. Also movies and anime are not canon speaking of south america, since they also mentioned minnesota in the anime that vikings are playing there.

Tbh the GS Ball can still happen if they wanted to do that thing again; since Celebi is about time travel, inside could be a past version of Celebi while the movie has the, at the time, future version of celebi. They could even bring it back in the anime today with someone finding it, opening it and celebi is now part of the main cast for a while before returning in time to its rightful place. You could even go the extra length for detail by having the portal it goes through; show ash and young oak from the other side. With clever writing and enough knowledge of the lore, anything is possible; even if you have to rely on the 3 McGuffins of lore writing: Timetravel/Multiverse, Magic and/or it's a Dream. :thumbsup:

I honestly think that pokemon I get captured and have butter control their body temperatures yeah moncargo and sluggium maybe its love but just like Ponita and rapidash, their flames can be hot but also cold to its trainers. That's how you were able to ride a ponita So the connection could be the same way. The mankargoes lower is its body. Temperature to freeway can be touched. Cause it's still creature that wants to be touched and hugged same with other examples of creatures. I suppose to be environmental danger to humanity. We've adapted involved with these pokemon. So maybe we got more, but heat resistance, like ash gets an extreme electricity immunity the time of him constantly shocked by Pikachu.
